Every material in the cooler is there for a reason: to make it as strong, as practical and as effective as it can be.
Our Deluxe cooler consists of 4 layers, including 400gsm ripstop canvas, 550gsm PVC lining, an inside rubber layer, and aluminised ripstop canvas inside the lid.
It is easy to move, easy to pack with meat or food, easy to clean, and completely waterproof on the inside.
For its size it is light, it folds down when it is not in use, and it stores in a corner.
Most of all, it insulates.
Our Deluxe coolers are built for long cold retention, typically 12 to 24+ hours, depending on how cold the load is when packed, the amount of ice used and the conditions during transport.
We have numerous customer reviews reporting 24+ hours of cold retention in real-world use.
We also carry out our own real-world testing. On one of our shorter road tests of 400 to 500 km, the temperature inside increased by only 2 to 4°C.
For example, in one of our road tests, meat loaded at around 2°C measured approximately 6°C after 500 km on the road.
These tests are examples of real-world performance, not the maximum time or distance the cooler can perform for.
